Terms of use

These terms cover your use of yorl.cc. By creating a link — with or without an account — you agree to them.

The service

yorl.cc shortens URLs and redirects visitors to the destination you set. Accounts add link management, analytics, QR codes and API access, subject to the plan you are on.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done with an API key you have created. Keep your password and keys private, and revoke a key in Settings if you believe it has been exposed.

Acceptable use

You may not use yorl.cc to shorten links to:

• malware, phishing pages or anything designed to deceive a visitor
• content that is illegal where it is hosted or where it is read
• material that infringes someone else's rights
• automated abuse, including bulk link creation to evade limits

Every destination is checked against Google Safe Browsing before it is saved, and a URL that fails is refused. We may disable any link that breaks these rules, without notice where the risk to visitors is immediate.

Plans and limits

Each plan includes a maximum number of links you may hold — 50 on Free. Reaching the limit stops you creating new links; it does not affect links you have already published, which keep redirecting and keep recording clicks.

If you move to a smaller plan, your existing links stay live. You will not be able to create new ones until you are within the new limit, and features your new plan does not include stop applying to new links.

Payment

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in Indian rupees and exclusive of GST. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refund requests go to [email protected].

Deleting your account

Deleting your account removes your sessions, API keys, tags and profile. Your short links are not deleted. They stay live and become anonymous, because breaking every URL you have already shared would cause more harm than leaving them working. If you want your links dead, disable them before you delete the account.

Availability

We work to keep redirects fast and available, but the service is provided as is, without warranty. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime, a destination you set, or a link you shared.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
